iTunes 12.7 Sync Issues

First, the new version of iTunes was not able to find any of my hundreds of music files - even though they are still located in my original iTunes folder. According to Apple support, I need to drag and drop them all back into iTunes. How convenient is THAT?

Secondly, the decision to eliminate being able to see apps in iTunes is probably Apple's worst iTunes decision yet. I have multiple Apple iOS devices, so instead of conveniently updating the apps in iTunes ONCE, and plugging in those multiple items to update them via iTunes, I apparently now need to download updates on each device using wifi. This is a complete waste of time. Is there a way to update apps without needing to do this individually for each device?

Thirdly, I frequently use the apps shown in iTunes to transfer files (.pdf, etc.) onto my iOS devices so that they can be used by specific apps. Apple has killed this ability as there doesn't appear to be a way to directly transfer files from my Mac to my iOS devices. Essentially, Apple has made these apps useless. Is there a way to transfer files from my Mac to my iOS devices for use in apps other than those developed by Apple?

APPLE: PLEASE BRING BACK THE FUNCTIONALITY OF ITUNES. THE NEW "UPDATE" HAS MADE ITUNES WORSE, NOT BETTER.
