I upgraded my iCloud storage plan from 200G to 2T. In System Preferences, I confirmed that I have the 2T of storage and that 1.8T is available.

From my Mac though, there's a warning at the top of each Finder window that "iCloud storage is full". There is a "Manage" button to the right of this alert that takes my to System Preferences where my available storage is 1.8T.

In the meantime, the iCloud link on the Finder sidebar shows a tiny sliver which I don't know if it's reflecting storage or time.

Restart art your Mac.

The “sliver” represents the 200Mb of storage that you‘ve used so far.
