Updates fail with this message "This update is ...

I purchased the Mac Mini with a Home Recording Studio Package and some of the updates fail to work.

The updates need to be purchased by the original owner. If you are running his/her software then it is unlicensed. You need to follow these instructions, then purchase your own software:

It is a quandary, I purchased my Mac Mini new with a Recording Studio package sold by Guitar Center. It constantly says I have updates to install and then after I initiate them it has this message,

This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."

I don't need the update or want the software, just want it to stop giving me the message. Maybe I should delete the software?
