USB Devices Disconnecting
I have a mid 2010 iMac 27" with the latest MacOS installed. Recently my USB devices keep disconnecting of their own accord. I have been copying a large number of files to a USB stick this morning, and after about 5 minutes i get the message to say that the USB device has not been ejected properly and has disappeared from finder. Unplugging and re-inserting has it appear again, but after 5 mins it again disappears. This happens with all my USB devices - memory sticks, bike computers, fitness watch, etc. This didn't used to happen and has only recently in the last few months started.
I have tried shutting down and restarting my mac, but this has not rectified the problem. Any ideas?
Thanks
