The IPad Air prints in portrait setting, but I ...

How can I print spreadsheets in landscape setting with my IPad Air?

Hi Donnie,

If you have Numbers app for your iPad, you have the option for printing in landscape. To do that, tap the wrench icon and select print. At that point you will get a blue screen to see the formatting and how it will print and in the lower left hand corner you will see an option to change the orientation.

Take it easy,

Thanks Norm G for your kind response.   Not quite got the into Numbers yet, so, on the IPad Air, I am working on an Excel spreadsheet originally created on a  laptop but I have working access to it through Google Drive. I hope that makes sense. On the IPad I have the xls document but no windows to change the orientation to landscape. The IPad Air only seems to work in portrait orientation, and that is my problem. Regards.  Don

Donnie ....did you ever get a response to your spreadsheet question?  I am trying to print an Excel spreadsheet which I received an an attachment to an email.  Any advice?

Norm G is correct. Basically Microsoft has let us down yet again. I spent half a friggin day yesterday with them on the phone. They just don't know how to make their lousy programme download or work properly on an iPad (and an iPhone too). All you can download for iPad is a cut down (free), vision 2.5 of excel which is a "dumb" program which won't allow you to change page orientation or size and a bunch of other things. If you have a subscription to office 365 business ( as I do), its ok for desktops and laptops and seemingly nothing else. Numbers will at least allow you to change print orientation and scale the size - now if I could just figure out how to get it to stop cutting off the left hand edge and allow page placement .............
