Why does iTunes cut off the side of my album ar...

I usually get Album Artwork for songs on iTuens by clicking "Get Info" on a song and clicking "Artwork" and then copy and paste the image from either Google and Wikipedia. For a while now, iTunes has been taking about 1.5 millimeters of the right side of the artwork, and putting it on the left side. At first, I thought it involved the size of the image, but I've been copying and pasting the images from both Google and Wikipedia. Any fixes? Thanks =D

Annoying isn't it? I think it is down to a weird interaction with the copy buffer. Try saving the file locally and then copying and pasting the resulting file into iTunes. A few more steps but you should find that it is reliable.

sorry wrong post

It's okay

Thanks, that worked If you just save the photo to your desktop, then copy and paste it to iTunes (I just dragged and dropped the whole file), then it will work.

I noticed this same issue when watching the artwork screensaver on my apple TV.  The glitch is much easier to see on a 65" 4K TV.  Very disturbing for those of us who insist on the highest quality artwork for our music.  There are two ways I've found to get around this glitch.  Like already stated in another reply here, you just save the artwork to disc, first.  Then drag it into the artwork tab of "Get Info".   A second method that works is as follows:  Copy the image to the clipboard with CTRL+C, then click "Create New" in Photoshop.  Photoshop references the exact dimensions of that image in the clipboard, so when you click "Create New" within Photoshop, then open the "custom" window with the dimensions of the image you just copied, you can CTRL+V the image into that newly created image, as it will be the exact dimensions of the copied artwork.  Edit it to your liking if you want, then CTRL+A to select all, CTRL+C again, and this time, CTRL+V it into iTunes.  This will paste it properly, without the glitch you speak of.  I always photoshop my images before finally embedding them in the mp3s, and have found this a quite convenient way of doing so.  It sounds like a lot of work at first glance, but after 2 or 3 images, it will be super easy for you.  I would imagine this also works with a free editor, such as paint.net or maybe even the resident paint program of Windows.  You may have to manually create a new document with the proper dimensions, though.
