Low fps and freezes on iTunes window resize

Device:

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)

3.8 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Radeon Pro 580 8 GB

 

OS:

macOS High Sierra (the same issue was on Sierra)

 

iTunes:

Version 12.7.0.166 (the same issue was on previous version)

 

Problem:

iTunes window resize is very slow with significant fps drops and freezes.

 

iTunes resize low fps on Vimeo

 

What I tried in order to fix this issue:

  • update OS version (from Sierra to High Sierra)
  • update iTunes version
  • clear OS install
