iTunes 12.7 does not launch

Hi,

The last iTunes 12.7 was installed automatically and does not work anymore :

At launch, iTunes tries to be connected to the store, and the connection never happens, so the colored circle turns all the time and the software is not usable.

I tried to uninstall iTunes : the Mac refuses. I tried to install the version on line (12.6) and of course the Mac refuses to do so also.

I'd add that iTunes is launched when I start the Mac : why? I never asked that!!!

So, iTunes is out.

What could I do???
