Retroactive Port Scanning

Hello,

I recently discovered an open port that was marked as established that I believe was being used by a RAT.  Right around this time, the port closed before I could look up the PID associated with it.

I was wondering whether there was a way to scan for the PID of a process on a port that that was previously listening and one that was previously established but isn't anymore. I used lsof -i in the terminal but the port doesn't show up under this command anymore bc according to the Network Utility Port Scan, the port in question is no longer open. Is there anyway to go back and find the PID of this port?

Thank you
