How can I sync my iPhone and iPad together

I have the iPhone 4S and ipad2. I would like to be able to have the two devices combined together. They are both set up under the same Apple ID but my photos did not go to my iPad or my apps. I'd like to get my photos on the iPad but still be able to delete them when needed.

Unless you are willing to put a computer in between and use iTunes to do the sync, you will have to enable iCloud services and go that way. However, when doing that, the iCloud content is THE SOURCE, whereas the iGadgets are mere views of that. So if you delete in one, it deletes from that source and the removed content is gone from everywhere.

See I have all my photos loaded on my computer and transfer photos that way onto my iPhone. And I'd like my devices to be together so I can edit my photos on my iPad as well. I am just not sure how to do it.

Having signed up and enabled the iCloud with your AppleID, enabling the My Photo Stream service in Settings / iCloud / Photos will put your pix in the cloud and keep both iGadgets in sync. Unless your computer is a Mac (which uses iPhoto for this, together with the iCloud), I have no idea how to do it there automatically.

Note that if you have oodles and oodles of pix, the default free iCloud account has a limit in space and you may need to purchase more.

This my question. They used to be sync together. Now they aren't and i dont like it. I like all messages, photos, anything i do to be access on all my apple tools.

Have you gone to iCloud in your settings and made sure everything you want synced is turned on?

Hi

Go to iCloud settings on each device make sure everything is enabled

Do the same with photos in settings.

Cheers

Brian
