Smart Playlist not displaying all songs

I am creating several playlists for music at a wedding, and decided to use a SmartPlaylist to remove songs once they've been played, so there are no repeats, and to keep track of how many songs are left. The problem is, not all songs are populating under the SmartPlaylist. For example, I created a normal playlist and for "slow songs" I set the Descritpion as "Slow". In the SmartPlaylist, when telling it to show only songs with the a Description of "Slow" some songs are left out. Anyone know what's causing this? The files are the same file type, purchased, etc. I'm at a loss. Help! :)
