Apps Cleaning?

I was using my iPod touch (6th generation) on iOS 11 GM and I noticed on Snapchat the app was dark 

and it said cleaning underneath. I did also noticed when using betas apps would go dark for a split second and go back to normal. Does anyone know what this is?

No. And I don't think you guys are allowed to discuss beta issues in public so....maybe someone on another forum has an idea what that is.

I did hear about that. Though I am running the GM version so I’m hoping it would have been okay.
