What am I doing with my life right now?

Hey, so I got a brand new 2017 MacBook Pro for few weeks now. I'm also absolutely new to macOS. I've really fall in love over those few weeks with everything around this system. No issue whatsoever. Although this week I had pretty weird problems with connecting my computer to internet. Particularly today, as there is no way to reconnect. 

So I'm working on my computer and all of sudden it disconnects. First thing I tried to turn off and on wifi in computer, rebooting my computer. Nothing happened. I didn't try to reboot my router, because I'm right here sitting connected with my iPhone. So it seems there is no way for me to resolve it by myself right now. Somebody must have the same problem right? I found few troubleshooting pages but most of them were years old and useless for Sierra. It is now two hours as I'm doodling with settings, resolving nothing.

I bought (extremely) expensive device and I expected it to work seamlessly. It has but this overshadows all the good times. I don't want to waste my time setting some MTU value from 1500 to 1453 to simply connect to internet. What do I do and why does this problem exist? Thanks
