Printing from iPad to AirPort Express connected...

I have just started using my new iPad 12.9 pro. I intend using it as my main device to replace my old Air. I have a HP LaserJet P1005 connected to my home wifi network via Airport Express. It works perfectly using my Air and MBPro. I really do not want to buy an AirPrint printer. Is there an app that enables printing. I have tried Pinter Pto but cant get it to connect.

Hi. You need to get an app from HP that supports the specific printer model.

Alternatively, you may be able to set up your computer as an AirPrint server, that will relay documents to the printer.

I m trying to avoid the server solution. I need to park my Air as a last resort. It is really getting tired. I need a sole standalone soution via an app. Have so far not found a good HP app.. It is a real pity that Apple ID forcing us to buy AirPrint systems when I have a perfectly good Express system
