How do I delete Apple Watch Phone "Recents"?
On my Apple Watch phone "recents" I have a name/number that I cannot delete? If I delete all recents on my iPhone, they get deleted on my Apple Watch except this one entry that remains. How do I delete it?
Thanks.
Nick
Open the Watch app on the phone, select Apple Wathc, then choose Unpair Apple Watch
Then rest the watch (clears everything) and re-pair it
Odd. Have you tried restarting the watch?
In any case, it sounds like a bug - I'd report it at the Apple feedback pages:
https://www.apple.com/feedback
I've switched the watch off and on but it does not clear this one "recent" call on the watch - as I said, the iphone is completely clear Must be a bug.

I expect you could clear it by un-pairing and re-pairing with the phone - although that seems a bit drastic
how do i do that?
Open the Watch app on the phone, select Apple Wathc, then choose Unpair Apple Watch
Then rest the watch (clears everything) and re-pair it
That got rid of that rogue recent call. Thanks.
Good - you're welcome
To be correct about this issue. U have to unpair then repair the watch to delete the call history?
open the apple watch app and under phone click mirror my phone. It will clear the call history
I've tried everything. The recents on my iPhone are erased; however, they still remain on my Apple 2 watch...
Did that...phone calls are still listed on my Apple 2 watch..but deleted on my iPhone.
First make sure the recents on the Watch match the recents on the iPhone. If they don't match (last few calls that is) then make a call, that will "force" the Watch and iPhone to sync. I found that since the Watch uses the 2.4 ghz wifi, I first make sure all my devices are on the 2.4 (I only do this at home), and then delete recent calls on my iPhone, which will delete recents on iPhone, Watch, iPad, MacBook all at the same time. I found that if recents didn't delete across all devices, say my iPad was on 5.0 and didn't delete calls in the FaceTime app, I would get ghost recents reappearing on my Watch. If for some reason there is a leftover recent or a re appearing recent (had that happen) the only way to get rid of it is to unpair then pair the Watch. It's maddening that you can't simply delete the calls from the Watch itself, I suppose there is some reason. I've been hoping since day one that one of the software updates would finally resolve this issue. Until then hope this helps, it always works for me
