Launchpad bug

Hello there,

I have been experiencing this bug on my new MacBook Pro 2017 13 inch with touch bar. Sometimes when I use the trackpad gesture to get to launchpad, I cannot scroll to the left once I scroll right. In addition, when I type something into the search field, 2 letters are typed for a single press of a letter key. This bug only disappears when I reset launchpad or restart my MacBook. This is really annoying and would appreciate any help on this! Here's a clip of the bug:
