Can I charge my Apple Pencil with an Apple 5W P...

I Just got a Apple Pencil and I was wondering if it could be charged with an Apple 5W Power Adapte?

The end of the pencil that charges is a lightning connector. It will only fit into a lightning port. A charger will have only a USB port, where a lightning charging cable will fit.

I have a extra lightning cable. And I meant will the 5W Power Adapter put out enough power to charge the Pencil correctly?

Doesn't really matter.

You have no way of physically connecting the pencil to the adapter/charger.

Unless your extra cable attaches to the charger and then ends in a female lightning port, you can't do this.

The correct way is to use the lightning port on your iPad. I would not suggest considering any other way to charge this $130 accessory.

You get 30 minutes of usage for a 15 second charge. How and why is this not good enough?

Without being able to prove this, I would think the adapter will put out way more power then the pencil needs or can accept. This is why Apple designed the charging function the way they did.

Yes, you can charge with the power adaptor as the Apple Pencil box come with a adaptor that allow u to connect two lightning heads.
