Mac OS Update Problems

Hi Community,

I have just tried to update my mac, however the App Store went crazy and i press update, it asks for my apple id password, then for me to agree to the users agreement and the i press the install button and it says immediately that the update has been installed. It has three updates so i press all three but and it says installed for a few seconds and then just freezes, says update again and then the whole process starts again. The same thing sometimes also happens with normal apps on my mac. Any ideas??
