Apple Notes search body of locked notes when th...

It seems that once you apply a lock to a note, the search function will no longer include a search of the body content of the note even if that note is unlocked. Does anyone have a workaround for this? I have a ton of locked notes and really need to be able to search the body content. Thanks

And by the way using this support community interface is pretty bad also. It requires selection of a community to post to, but there is no community for Notes and I've spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out which community I should even post it in. This *****!
