Apple should reevaluate their policy on AppleCa...
I purchased a 2016 15" MacBook Pro TB in December 2016, and I'm still within the 1 year to purchase regular AppleCare. I think it's ridiculous that we can't pay $30 extra to get the accidental damage coverage. I called apple support and was told that AppleCare+ is not available for older devices, but that's not true because a family member just bought the cheaper 2015 model MacBook Pro that is still being sold and was able to get Applecare+, so it's definitely available for older devices. It's lame that we have to spend almost $400 and Apple can't even make a very simple exception to allow people that bought 2016 MacBook Pros to get AppleCare+. Apple really needs to reevaluate this policy, and make an exception for people that bought last years models and are still within the one year limit to get AppleCare.
