itunes 12.6.2.10 windows 10 x64 airplay

Airplay is unavailable in itunes intermittently, the airplay receiver is not visible as a speaker output option withing itunes. The airplay receiver is visible on the network, I can also control the receiver using web control in a browser window, so comms between pc and receiver is evident. Usually a pc reboot restores airplay availability, but I would prefer an alternative permanent fix.  Apple please assist!

 

Setup: Windows 10, itunes 12.6.2.10, yamaha RXV775 airplay receiver.

 

Already tried: Allowing itunes through firewall, disabling firewall, unchecked IPv6.
