Security:  How to Log MAC Address Activity

QUICK VERSION:

How can I log (or see a log) of network activity by MAC address on my Mac?

MacBook Pro 15

macOS Sierra 10.12.6

BACKGROUND:

No not "Mac"intosh addresses.

I am talking about the media access control address (MAC address).  This is a 6 byte hexadecimal number that uniquely identifies a computer (actually your network device).  Example 00:1C:B3:AA:BB:CC.  The first 3 pairs identify the vendor (Cisco).

Trivia:

According to Wikipedia, Edward Snowden was quoted in a Wired Magazine article (12/01/2014 "The most wanted man in the world") saying that the NSA has a program to track MAC addresses (of phones or wifi) wherever the device goes.  Apple, a leader in privacy security, plugged this hole shortly thereafter -- iOS now randomly generates a MAC address before connecting to a network.

MY PROBLEM:

I have a new network monitoring tool which is telling there is a "rogue access point" on my wifi.  The security device (Fingbox) is saying a specific MAC address device is transmitting with my Airport SSID.  I have checked the MAC address for both my WiFi routers and the devices on my network and do not see the MAC.

To mitigate, I am stopping the rogue device by going into Airport Utility, going to the "Network" tab, checking "Enable Access Control", then opening the "Timed Access Control" dialog and entering the rogue MAC.  Finally I am setting "Wireless Access Times" to "No Access".

This is all fine, but I just want to see if this rogue MAC (a Cisco device) is in my logs somewhere.
