Apple Watch 3 keeps hanging up Iphone calls

When I answer a call on iPhone 7, my Series 3 Watch (WiFi/Cellular) keeps hanging up the call after a few seconds. However, when I answer the call on the watch itself and move over to the iPhone, it seems to be fine. While I realize the obvious solution is to answer every call on my watch, that's ridiculous - I should be able to answer a phone call with either device without getting disconnected.

Problem solved! Apple Support had me unpair/repair the watch, and the problem went away!
