ipod disabled

daughter's ipod touch disabled; can't sync to old computer; doesn't work anymore; how to I sync to itunes on new computer to get ipod working again

Place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore via iTunes on the computer. For recovery mode see:

Thank you for your assistance. I tried what you suggested and it didn't work. It gave me a message saying that iTunes did not recognize the iPod and something about unlocking the password. But I can't unlock the password because the iPod is disabled.

My guess is that you did not get the iPod in recovery modes iTunes will tell you it found an iPod in recovery mode. It can be tricky. You can:

- Retry using the same instrustion I gave yu befor.

- Use this program to get the iPod in recovery mode.
