Receive sms message on iPad mini 4 using iOS 11

I don’t get sms messages on my iPad mini 4 since updating to iOS 11.

i have no issues on my iPhone 7, iMac or iPad Air

Hi. Check the Continuity settings on both iPad and iPhone. See this link: Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support. You may need to logout of iCloud and back in on the iPad.

And be sure that Text Message Forwarding to your iPad is enabled on iPhone.
