how do you clear a frozen screen for the daily ...

My ipad2 has the latest update. I currently have 2.9 GB available . The ipad has 16 GBs.

My zen calendar reminder has froze 3/4 way down from top of ipad.

I have tied syncing on computer but to no avail.

I cannot turn off since the slider cannot be accessed.

What can I do.
