touch ID unlock is very slow on my Macbook Pro

After touching I take my finger off and then have to wait A FEW SECONDS before the computer unlocks.

Every time it's the same. Whether computer was asleep or not.

I have 16GB RAM.

Does anyone else have the same experience?

What should I do?

Are you on the High Sierra beta by any chance?
