How do I Make Google Chrome Default From Mail.a...

When I right click a selected word or sentence from either iMessages or Mail and click search with Google, Safari opens. This is despite Chrome already being set as the default browser. How can I make these functions open Chrome?

You set Chrome as the default browser in safari:

If this don't work, perhaps a hack of some sort would help.  Rename safari to something else. Write an apple script called safari.app and have it call up chrome.  Would get "enhanced" everytime a new version of safari cam out.  Use the unix ln -s command to point safari to chrome.
