Apple id with domain dead

Hi everyone first time i'm writing here so apologize for my english.

I have an issue on my old ipad but it regards apple id. In fact i have an email with domain not existing anymore.

(xxxxxx@people.it)

Im sure made some mistake trying to change it in one different email (gmail) and i change it.

Now my id is always with old domain )in settings--> icloud, but when i touch it i see my new email.

Probel is that when im playing with some apps very often it asks me for identity and when im writing password, it failed.

 

I'd like definitively to cancel my old email.

It sounds like you're being prompted to enter your old Apple ID information after having changed the email address associated with your Apple ID, and I'm happy to help.  Please follow the instructions in this support article:

Thanks Chris; i did it previously. Now I'm trying to change also in Icloud. Hope it works !
