Safari stalls
I have a Macbook with MacOS 10.12.6 and Safari 11.0 installed. For some considerable time now, I find that when navigating to certain website addresses (e.g., macworld.com is one of them), Safari stalls at about 30% when downloading the page. I have researched the problem widely and tried every conceivable "solution". None have been entirely effective. The only consistent "solution" (if you can even call it that) is (on every occasion) to go to the Safari Preferences menu / Privacy / Manage Website Data and delete (in this specific example) the macworld.com cache/cookie/local storage entry. Hey presto, when the (e.g.) macworld.com page is next accessed, the page downloads promptly and without difficulty. But the next time.... and the problem is there all over again. Once again, only to be remedied by deleting the (e.g.) macworld.com cache/cookie/local storage entry. Any words of wisdom out there?
