SHUFFLE/REPEAT PROBLEM

Answer to Shuffle/repeat problem on iPhone.

When in Music and playing songs that are repeating when you want to shuffle: play one song, at the bottom is the small player.  Click on this (takes you to a fill page with "forward" "back" and pause.  Scroll upward to see what is underneath this page, and there you see the "shuffle" and "repeat" icons.  Mine was on "repeat" thru no fault of my own LOL, because I didn't know these icons were there.  Hope this helps you.
