No Breathe alerts on my new Apple Watch 2

I recently received a new Apple Watch 2 to replace a defective watch.

 

I restored the new watch from a backup of the old watch.

 

Everything is is fine except for one thing:

 

I no no longer get Breathe alerts.

 

I have Breathe set for five alerts per day. Mute is off.

 

Restarting the watch hasn't helped.

 

Any ideas?
