File Transfer Between iOS Devices & Ubuntu ...

Dear Apple Support Communities,

How can I transfer & manage data of an iOS devices (like iPad mini, iPhone etc.) in Ubuntu or other Linux OSs (like SUSE Linux, Red Hat Linux, Fedora, Chromium OS or other Linux OSs etc.)? Earnestly waiting for your precious reply.

Linux itself is simple not supported at all for iTunes, which is the tool for sync’ing content and backups of iOS devices with a computer.

You could set up a windows virtual machine to run itunes in, or even WINE, but I imagine it will not be seemless or without headaches to use.

Without an iTunes compatible OS, what you're asking is simply NOT possible.
