Regarding iMac screen looks like a negative

Thank you Ian for the information.  However, I do not have an Apple image on my keyboard.  I made a guess that it was the Command key.  It worked.   So, for those that have not seen the original problem--In order to toggle between black-on-white and white-on-black screens, hold down the Control-Option-Command keys simultaneously and then hit the #8 key.

It appears your asked a question in an other thread to which Ian has replied. It appears you are replying back to Ian here on new thread. Ian will have no way of see this reply. Instead of starting a new thread, what you should have done was to click the Reply button in his reply to you so that this information appears in the same thread. In this way, Ian will see it.
