iMac 27 inch screen replacement

I installed a SSD in my iMac 27 inch Computer.  About 30 days later the screen fell off even though I used adhesive to keep it on.  The screen makes the sound that it has booted up, but the screen doesn't come on.  Replaced the screen, still not working.  Do I have to do anything after replacing the screen?  What else could the problem be?
