trackpad moving but not clicking

Hi

So I have a early 2015 macbook pro retina 13" and randomnly the trackpad will stop clicking so i can move it and everything else works but when i reset PRAM SMC and NVRAM nothing happens i can feel it click and force touch but it doesnt work but when i use a external mouse whether its external or bluetooth it works and this is happening more and more if i wait it starts working but this timing is getting longer to the point where its a hour to an hour and a half and this is a problem for me as im a student and need my laptop most lessons so im getting into trouble and getting marked down on tests because my handwriting is bad and therefore my laptop was a life saver please help
