Cannot Sync Iphone to my Macbook pro

Hello,

After downloading Itunes on to my PC i went to plug my iphone back into my mac book pro and tried to sync my iphone to my itunes on my mac however get the following msg which i cant get past

" The Iphone "My iphone" cannot be synced. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation."

Can anyone please tell me what i need to do to fix this problem? Do i need to plug phone back into pc and fix something?

Pretty annoying and i was considering uninstalling itunes from PC and removing PC device all together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
