Does iCloud work for backing up an old Mac runn...

I don't know how to back up my old Mac running Snow Leopard online.  It's incompatible with an online backup software that I had purchased.  I don't want to keep only a local copy.  I used to back it up to CrashPlan but that's not available anymore.

No - iCloud is not a backup for a Mac at all - it is a syncing/sharing service - and most iCloud services require newer software
