find my friends location not available?

I have an Iphone 4 with IOS 5 and the Find My Friends app.  when trys to frind my friend it will say Location not Available ? I think that I have all the settings correct can anyone help I almost ready to remove the app  and re enter the Find my friends app again, Help.

Reply to my own question I have been trying to find out the answer but after almost 7 hours here it is. First delete the app on both phones shut the phones off and turn them on both relaod the app on each phone then set it up up fresh and it worked like it should.

I have a 4s and my wife the 4, both with iOS 5. We had the same trouble as above, my location was unavailable to her yet our other friends locations were fine and I could find her fine too. Reinstalled the app on both phones, the wife's first with no difference. Then did mine, when I reinstalled mine it asked about the active device. I chose "this iPhone" as my location rather than my "(my name)'s iPhone". Seemed to work instantly after this when we re-requested the following. Might be worth checking this setting in the "me" section and then "account" before re-install. I don't know what mine was set to before the re-install.

It works just by adjusting Find Friends settings.

I have two iPhones using the same iCloud account, so Find Friends was confused about which location to share (the application Find my iPhone was ok).

As suggested by TripleD3, I went to Me/account and I found the option to select which of my devices was the Active Device. Immediately after that adjustment, people on the temporary event that we where setting up were able to find my location.

I have the same issues "Find my friends location not available" on my iPhone 5

Mine stopped working yesterday, quite randomly.

I've not added any new devices to my iCloud (other than activating iMessage on my iMac). When I load the app on my phone, it reports that everyone's locations are unavailable. Two of them were in the same room as me and they definitely weren't hiding their locations.

Any ideas?

Rafael's solution worked for me. I could see my wife, but she couldn't see me.  I had to change the setting on my iPad for my iPhone to be the active device. Then I logged out of Find Friends on the iPhone and then back in. Now she can see me.

After some searching I found the answer in the help menu. The problem is in the Privacy setting. Go to settings>privacy>location services, search for the app settings and if never share is turned on then turn on share location.

Hi! I’m having this trouble now and was wondering if you ever found a solution?
