Keep using Apple Watch Series 2 (with WatchOS 3...

Since iPhone 5c cannot upgrade to iOS 11, would I be able to keep pairing my iPhone and Watch?

I don't want to update to WatchOS 4, even if I wanted I couldn't, I just want to keep using (pairing) my iPhone 5c with my Apple Watch Series 2 with WatchOS 3.
