I am trying to setup my new IPhone 8 and transf...

I am trying to setup my new IPhone 8.  When I try to transfer apps & data via ITunes I get an error "corrupt file, or cannot back-up".  Does this have anything to do with me updating to iOS 11.02 on the old devices just before backing it up to my MAC?
