Removal of the Apps tab from Mac OS iTunes!!

I've been using Mac since the 80s and IOS from the beginning.  What genius was it that decided to remove the Apps tab from Mac OS iTunes? Suddenly you removed a key feature in maintaining a consolidated approach to managing apps, music, and everything else on the Mac and removed loads of efficiency by fragmenting apps, music, etc. all of which are the engines of these devices.  I have hundreds of Apps and the Mac has been the best way to manage them, select which ones I may want to load and which to remove.  I would much rather review new apps on the Mac, go to the developer website, quickly and efficiently!!  If I am somehow mistaken and there is a way of managing my app library within Mac iTunes I would like to know.

I have a MacBook Pro OS Sierra 10.12.6 and Mac iTunes 12.7.0.166

All remnants of connections to apps has been removed from

iTunes.  This is by design!
