Thunderbolt Display Ethernet stopped working af...

After installing this update the <Display Ethernet> under Network configurations says Cable Unplugged. I know for sure the ethernet works, because when I connect the same cable through a Thunderbolt Gigabit Ethernet adapter (to the thunderbolt port in the back of my monitor) it works fine. I tried this on a couple of Thunderbolt monitors and I have the same issue.

Right now I can only use Wireless - how can I fix this issue?

I resolved the issue by deleting the Display Ethernet network connection from the Networks System Preferences, then unplugging the Display from the MacBook, then reconnecting the display to the MacBook, adding back the Display Ethernet network connection in System Preferences and Applying the settings (make sure you click Apply.)

I have read other reports that this solution doesn't stick all the time and you have to repeat, but so far it has worked for me.
