Issue with changing info on multiple songs

Since updating to version 12.6, I am no longer change the information on multiple songs to create an album.  I can "select" them all and enter all the information I want, even change the album art but when I am finished, nothing happens.  I can go into each individually and enter the information and they will bunch together and become an album but that takes forever.  Any ideas?

Which view are you in? I think this may be a problem in Recently Added but not in Songs. Which properties are you trying to change?

Thank you for your reply.  I just looked that and my settings were correct.  Also, I am not having any problem changing one song or track, only multiple at once, and it just started with the latest update.  Any other suggestions?

This is an issue with iTunes 12.6.x.x. Unfortunately for what you're trying to do, it one song at a time.

You are brilliant!  I was in the Album view of my entire library.  I changed to "list view" of "all songs" and it let me change everything.  In answer to your question about properties, I usually leave the song titles and change the artist, album, genre and add album art.  I don't know why version 12.6 had to make this more difficult but at least there is a work around.  Thank you so much for your help!!

Hi! I am having the same issue to the problem you were having! I am trying to change the info on all of the songs on my iPhone to "Remember playback position", and some to, "skip while shuffling". It lets me select the option but then when I click "ok" and go back in it doesn't save the selection. It only does this when trying to alter multiple songs at once, but not individual songs. I am not in album view, I am in list view as you said (I think?). Let me know, please, thanks!
