Can i create a Fusion drive with two Sata drives?

Can I create a Fusion drive with two SATA drives in a Apple mac-mini, which has two 500GB sata hard drives. I would like to make one big drive showing a 1TB space.

Yes, but there are few things before you proceed..

1. making a back up -- Time Machine.  Because when you create the fusion drive, you will loose all the data on both drive.

2.  Make a bootable (Mac OS) USB drive -- you might need to re-download the file, and follow the steps:

3. Boot from USB drive, then following the steps about "how to create Fusion Drive"

After you Fusion drive is created, you then can install the OS of your choice, then using Time Machine to restore the system
