Enable wireless AC on Imac

Hello,

I have an Imac 27" late 2015. the wireless data in the system report shows that can run 802.11 n and ac.

I've turned off the transmit Wireless N and turned the AC on, so it should now pick up the AC. However, it states that it cannot connect. What do I need to do to solve this issue.
