MacMini 2012 High Sierra iTunes problem

I've notice when i hit the green button to go into full screen mode on my iTunes app and when I close it using the red button in the upper left corner, the screen goes completely black and my bottom task bar disappears. During the black screen, If i guide my mouse arrow to the top of the screen -- the top task bar appears.  I have to access something with in View or History to get my bottom task bar and background image to show again.  It seems like the OS is hanging up during the black screen process after I close my iTunes using the red button from full screen view.  I have no other problems with other apps when i close with the red button  from full screen view.

 

I've run First aid and check my ram via boot test.  Everything is working correctly per test run.

 

My system:  MacMini 2012 4gb ram/ 512GB (stock drive)

Mac High Sierra: MacOS 10.13

iTunes version 12.7.0.166
