new memory shutting down mini mac

Have a mini mac (late 2012)  and it have a i5 processor.  I added new 2 (8) gig ddr 1333 memory  Total 16 mg and it worked great for a while, now it shuts down radomly with out notice.  ( NOT APPLE PRODUCT ) I switched back to the old orginal 2 (2 gigs)  1600 ddr.   orginial apple

Did I buy the wrong memory?  Could it be for the i7?  i purchased from amazon last year and just lived with the turning off and  on....but now i am using the mac more and can stand the shutting of.

Those are the wrong modules for a Late 2012 Mac Mini.

You really need to get Mac specific PC3-12800 1600MHz 204-pin modules from a reliable vendor,
