iOS 11 photos disappeared

I had over 1,000 photos in camera roll and one day just checking my camera roll it went to 70. I’ve tried pretty much everything I’ve found online to try restore it like signing in and out of iCloud because I use iCloud for my photos. Restarting the phone and even previous backups. Also updated to recent iOS to see if that work and that didn’t either. Please help iPhone 6 Plus
