Calendar on MacBookPro won't sync to iCloud

I just noticed that events from a few days ago added to my Calendar on my MacBookPro won't sync to iCloud, and aren't updating on my other devices.

I am getting a warning in Calendar against my iCloud calendars and a message: "There was an unexpected error with the request (domain CalCalDAVErrorDomain / error 14)."

How can I fix this?
